Greeted upon entering. Order at register, then seat yourself. Friendly. Decor honors the patriotic, VFW history of the building. Menu has lots of options, fall off the bone ribs, lots of sauce choices, sides yummy, alcohol/non alcohol drink choices, portions more than adequate, lots of table and booth seating, plenty of parking ... and a really nice bar area with seating. We had the rib basket (3 ribs) with okra and coleslaw and the original Pulled Pork Eggroll with sweet potato fries. Every year, they do a really great smoked or smoked and fried turkey for ordering ahead for Thanksgiving (call a month in advance! PickUp is the Weds before). Never disappoints.

The Brack Shack Bar and Grill, always great food. You can buy the bbq sauce to go too! So many things to love. Brisket is amazing...love the brisket nachos. Tried the wings for the 1st time and they were excellent..my favorite Mac and cheese around..so happy for the addition of the bar. The owner takes pride in his business and his food.

First time at The Brack Shack Bar & Grill in Auburndale. This place has been on my radar for a long time and we finally made it over. My husband and picky-ish daughter shared the egg rolls and nachos (everything on the side for the nachos at my daughter’s request, it usually comes assembled lol). They both loved everything! Really nice sized serving of brisket that was super tender and flavorful. Lots of fun and unique flavored BBQ sauces to choose from too. The staff was also great!

Don’t sleep on these nachos! We dine here quite frequently and finally decided to order this little gem of a menu item. A true diamond in the rough, obscured by the ribs, brisket, and BBQ sandwiches commonly found on BBQ joint menus. Wanting to try something different, we asked the waitress how they were and she politely, and honestly, replied, “I’m not sure. I’ve never actually tried them. And not a lot of people order them”. Although this didn’t seem promising, it ironically fit right in with our desire to break from the norm. To say these were delicious would be an understatement. The chicken was nicely shredded and flavorful. The cheese, warm and gooey. Topped with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion which offered a delightful balance to the dish. A generous portion size that can be enjoyed with either a fork and knife, or barbarian style with your two bare hands. Either way you will walk away fully satisfied and maybe a bit disappointed you haven’t had them sooner!

If your taste buds have been begging for a vacation but your wallet says “nah,” this spot is basically the all-inclusive resort they deserve. The cheeseburgers? Juicy masterpieces that make you question every other burger you’ve ever eaten. The beans? Let’s just say if beans were currency, these would be straight-up gold bars. The tater tots and fries are so crisp and airy you’ll start wondering if they’re secretly deep-fried clouds. But the grand finale—the peach cobbler roll—deserves its own standing ovation. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you want to text your ex just to say, “I’ve moved on, and it’s better.” Oh, and the sauces? Flavor bombs. Whatever you order, they’ll find a way to make it taste like the main character of the meal. Bottom line: come hungry, leave happy, and maybe unbutton your pants before dessert.

This is one of those places the locals don't want to share. It's too good for snow birds! My husband's coworkers have raved about this place forever, and we were finally in the area on a day off today, so we gave them a shot. Honestly, I owe his coworkers a thank you card for the recommendation! We ordered one of each delicious egg roll flavor and shared them. With six original sauce flavors to match with these, the combinations were out of this world! The sides weren't a disappointment either. They have the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. The best part? They have Cheerwine in the soda machine! This is my family's favorite drink and just sealed the deal that this our go-to BBQ place from now on! I'm excited to try one of their burgers next time. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who's a great guy and very friendly. He mentioned they'll be opening 7 days a week in the new year, which is wonderful! They also they have a rewards program, so make sure to ask for a punch card. You'll be back garenteed!

Had a late lunch here and it was well worth the ride. You order at the register and they bring it to your table. Staff seemed to be shorthanded but it didn’t slow them down. Our table had cheeseburger, onion rings, brisket egg rolls, fries, brisket sandwich, taco egg rolls and peach cobbler. It was all delicious. We would definitely recommend to others.
